Lexington premiere of "The Courage for Love"

I am honored to have the opportunity to conduct the Lexington premiere of my extended work The Courage for Love with the Kentucky Bach Choir this Sunday, March 3 at 7:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church (174 N. Mill Street). Originally scored for choir, soloists, and chamber orchestra, this performance features a new instrumentation for string quintet and piano. The program also includes five chorales to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the first performance of J. S. Bach's St. John Passion, plus other shorter pieces contemplating themes of love and sacrifice by Jacobus Gallus Handl, John Ireland, W. A. Mozart, and Maurice Duruflé.
