God Be In My Head was composed in memory of my grandfather, Dr.
Charles Edward Stephen McKeown (1916-2008). The text comes from the
Sarum Primer, a collection of prayers and worship services developed in
Salisbury, England during the 13th century and used throughout Britain
and parts of continental Europe until the Reformation.
