I composed
Sleep, Sleep, Beauty Bright in 2009 as a lullaby, with the melody taking shape in the weeks following the birth of my third child. The original SATB version was performed by my choir at Delta State University as the closing work for our appearance at the 2010 ACDA Southern Region Conference in Memphis. The SSA arrangement was written for my friends Joelle and Reese Norris in celebration of the birth of their first child, Isabelle.
